Released in 1983, the SG-1000 was Sega's first console — launched on the exact same day as the Nintendo Famicom. Talk about bad timing! 🎮

Fun fact: The SG-1000 was so obscure outside Japan that most people's first Sega was the Master System. But hey, everyone has to start somewhere!
